2010 Event & Winners PDF Print E-mail

The 15th Annual Great Lakes Regional Chili Cook-off and Motorcycle Show was held on Sunday, October 10h in downtown Plymouth, MI  the biggest & best Chili event of the year!!!!  With more than 15,000 chili and bike fans in town, 87 different chili's along with 17 restaurants serving up their best chili the town was hopping...Over 40,000 Chili Samples were consumed!!  A GREAT CHILI DAY!

Also…The Chili Bike Show, held on Main Street was the coolest place to see Harley & non-Harley motorcycles.  The Best of the Best.  17 Trophies were awarded to the bike show participants.

The 5th Annual Motor Cycle "Chili Rides" were another resounding success with over 300 bikes rumbling into town.  Two official rides were a part of this year’s event.  The rides began at Dick Scott's Classic Motorcycle dealership in Canton and Motor City Harley Davidson in Farmington Hills.  Both rides ended at the cook-off!  What a sight to see!!!

Taylor Abbey sang the National Anthem to get the whole event started!  Steve King and the Dittilies kept the crowds jumping and our 5 dance teams were fantastic to watch all day.  (MotorCity & Country Note Cloggers, Center Stage Dance Co, Synergy Dance Academy, Dance Beat and Step N Line).

Net proceeds from this terrific event will go to Western Wayne Habitat for Humanity along with a portion to The Miracle League of Plymouth

All net proceeds from both events will go to benefit Habitat for Humanity.
The 14th annual Chili event was a huge success!!!  Thanks to MotorCity Harley Davidson in Farmington Hills and to Dick Scott's Indian Motorcycle Detroit in Canton for all their efforts in organizing these events.
